In 1940, Harry Pritchett and Marlin Moore, Sr. came together and formed Pritchett-Moore, Inc. They sensed the future of the Tuscaloosa community and the need for insurance and real estate related services. Pritchett-Moore, Inc. grew rapidly over the years and expanded its services throughout West Alabama. Marlin Moore, Jr. and Tommy Moore purchased the business in 1975 and continued our motto of “People you can grow with.” We have been very fortunate to be involved with the opportunities that have come to Tuscaloosa – JVC, Mercedes, Phifer Wire Products, the University of Alabama, Jim Walter Resources, Uniroyal Goodrich, and many others.
In 2004 we began third generation of ownership at Pritchett-Moore. As Tuscaloosa has continued to grow and attract talent from around the world, we began to see the need for and the benefit of having an internationally recognized name associated with ours. In May of 2006, we were awarded a Prudential Real Estate affiliation, and this association led to the formation of Prudential Pritchett-Moore Realty.
